Immersion Travel Magazine
Editor in Chief
@travelsustains
The Editor in Chief of Immersion Travel Magazine, Clare Hancock was raised among cacti and cowboys in Arizona and has always had an appetite for adventure. By her sophomore year in college, she had set her sights set on becoming a travel writer. After earning her master’s in Journalism however, she realized that travel writing wasn’t all it was cracked up to be, and decided to change it with her vision of a magazine featuring ethical and responsible destinations that also took care of its contributors. No more trading compensation for positive reviews. No more traveling on insufficient budgets. No more shady deals with bloated companies. Just the good, the bad, the breathtaking, and even the not-so-glamorous, real experiences of pure travel.
