This informal panel discussion takes a look at less traveled destinations you should be paying attention to in this rapidly evolving global industry. We’ll explore the nuances of emerging tourism areas with developing infrastructure and provide tips on setting proper expectations in your marketing of the destinations. We’ll also examine the role of culture in off-the-beaten path travel and identify which demographics to target through a discussion of the “vacation persona” of those enticed by remote destinations.
