Elizabeth Gordon is the CEO and Co-Founder of Extraordinary Journeys, a tour operator that specializes in selling custom luxury safaris to Africa. After graduating from Stanford University, she worked for Wilderness Safaris in Namibia and started a vacation rental company in Buenos Aires before finally starting Extraordinary Journeys in 2008 with her mother, Marcia Gordon. Elizabeth and Marcia have steadily grown Extraordinary Journeys into a highly respected and extremely knowledgeable company that prides itself on thinking outside the box while also being major supporters of community and wildlife conservation. She was one of the top travel agent under 30 according to travel agent magazine and the youngest safari expert listed on the 2014 Travel and Leisure A list. They have expanded their business beyond Africa and are offering safaris outside of Africa in South America, Australia and New Zealand.
