Emily Desjardins

Adjunct Instructor at NYU’s Tisch Center for Hospitality and Tourism, Freelance Tourism Development Consultant

Emily currently teaches research methods and design for hospitality and tourism undergraduates at NYU, and, in her not-so-spare time, she conducts research and writes for private clients in the tourism sector. Her research interests are developing sustainable destinations, encouraging meaningful cultural exchanges, and creating educational opportunities through research and travel. She is an experienced traveler through Europe, South America, Australia, and New Zealand, and believes that research is not only a smart business practice, but a good way to becoming a more responsible traveler as well.
