New York-based Ian Livingston is the editor at JohnnyJet.com, a leading independent online travel resource since its first USA Today write-up back in 2000. As editor, Ian helps direct the flow of travel wisdom and experiential writing through a website, regular email newsletters and a growing social media presence, and he leverages travels through 51 countries—including five in Africa—in these efforts and in his writing for the site and other publications. In earlier years, Ian worked as a copywriter for an educational travel company and studied journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
