After working in foreign affairs, politics and the private sector, Ashton Giese currently organizes custom travel, authors a weekly LGBTQ news brief and works as a Development Associate at the International Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission. Previously, he advocated for LGBT rights at the US State Department and helped elect LGBT advocate, US Congressman Mark Pocan. Ashton grew up outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota, but attended the George Washington University and lived in DC until he moved to New York last year. He also lived in Malaga, Spain for the first half of 2014.
